The Chinese culture is profound and long-standing while the African continent also has rich cultural and artistic resources and a long history. Such as the ancient civilizations of Egypt, the tribal cultures of southern Botswana and South Africa, the beautiful dances, the oil paintings of Tanzania, etc., all reflect that Africa is a continent with a long history of culture. It is also a sacred place for people from all over the world, such as the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Kasani, Chobe River, Zambia and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. But not every Chinese is familiar.  

Culture and art are bridges connecting friendships between two different regions. The world is colorful and even more unknown. We need to strengthen the exchanges between the two major civilizations of China and Africa. We need to understand each other and better promote cultural integration and communication, making progress together and achieving common prosperity and development.

 

At present, there are hundreds of thousands of Chinese working and living in Africa. They are more eager to learn about local culture, so as to better interact with local people and better serve the local people. Meanwhile, there are more and more African people heading to China. There are thousands of Africans working and living in Guangzhou alone. In recent years, the marriage between China and Africa has also shown an upward trend.

, In order to promote unique cultures and promote exchanges and mutual learning between China and Africa in culture and art, humanities education, and media, some people and groups in African countries who care and love culture and art, have decided to formally establish Africa-China Culture and Arts Exchange Society.
